Construction:
Ainoa is a relaxed top-down sweater worked in the round. Decorative vine motifs are worked between the raglan increases. The entire sweater is knitted holding a merino yarn together with a silk mohair yarn creating a luxuriously soft fabric. The vine motifs at the raglans merge under the arms to form two cables that run along the sides of the sweater from the underarm down to the hem. Knitting begins with the neck ribbing. The vine motifs and increases are then worked as the yoke is shaped. After completing the yoke the sleeves are separated and the body is worked in the round with the side cables. Finally the sleeves are knitted straight down and finished with ribbing.
